Artist and writer of Turkish origin Gulpehar Yekenkurul wrote and sang "they smuggled us" which reflect the reality of Syrian refugees displaced in the world. Artist Gulpehar living with her family in Sydney since 47 year and in addition to the Turkish language speaks Arabic she learned from Arab neighbours in Sydney.
