Many refugees with disabilities are arriving in Australia with either no, or insufficient equipment to be able to carry out their daily lives. To assist with addressing this issue, Minister for Multiculturalism, Disability and Ageing, John Ajaka has awarded Northcott and the NSW Refugee Health Service a Unity Grant of more than $16,000 to buy essential equipment such as wheelchairs for these families.
