According to 2012 survey of university student finances of Universities Australia's results indicate that more than %66 of students say they are concerned about their financial status, %17 go to university without taking any food and %25 of students work more than 20 hours a week to cover their needs.
Stuart Martin, Victoria University welfare advisor and chair of a Student Financial Advisor Network that delivers welfare and social support nationwide says in an interview with the ABC that the size of this problem is greater than Australian people realize.
