Something was stopping car keys from working in the popular suburb of Melbourne, Carlton.

For months, visitors and residents could not lock their cars remotely, they had to use the keys, and in some cases cars stopped from working for hours.

Many questions have been raised about the reason behind this, and many theories have begun to emerge to solve the mystery of what is happening in this street.

It turned out to be a dental clinic, and the owners had no idea about this.

Australian Communications and Media Authority in Melbourne investigated the location with a spectrum analyser, and found a constant signal at the frequency of 434 MHz- the same used by car key remotes.
