Western Sahara crisis: any hope for a resolution?

The Arab region is home to many military conflicts and chronic humanitarian crises. Today, we are talking about one of these issues, which some describe as one of the longest political and humanitarian conflicts in the world. It is the Western Sahara crisis.


Morocco manages about 80 percent of the territory and the rest is run by the Polisario Front, which is fighting for independence. Because of this conflict, thousands of Sahrawis have sought refuge in Algeria, where they have been living in camps for decades.
