"Whale Devouring Baghdad Moon"/ by artist Hedar Abadi . In Hedar's own words: I have been occupied with theme of fish for two years because fish have potential expression and beauty. Even though a fish dies, it suggests it's still alive y the look of its eyes and its scales.The fish represents the second figure in my paintings in regard to form and subject. Fish have a open meaning and offer viewers space for interpretation . Through the theme of fish , I shed light on the dilemma of our contemporary world; how big countries deal with smaller ones with a focus on spread of jungle law( big fish eat small ones .
