Mr Mohamed Khatib is an experienced practitioner in the area of health and wellbeing who left his country, Syria, due to the civil war.
Keen to continue his professional activity in Australia, Mohamed was referred to Ignite through his SSI case manager, who had been supporting him since he arrived in Australia with his family in 2015.
In just six months, the collaboration between Mohameds experience and the assistance offered by the Ignite team resulted in an initiative that includes yoga, meditation and pranic healing.
Mr Khatib is already offering his services to the Syrian community in Sydney, and hopes to soon expand it into the wider community.
Through his work, Mr. khatib gave many lectures on this science in Egypt and Syria before coming to Australia three years ago.
He uses this science now to treat mental and physical illnesses in Australia after he established a business in Sydney with the support of the Ignite program of Settlement Services International that help new refugees establish their small businesses in NSW.
Mr. Mohammed Al Khatib will tell us more about this sciences and arithmetic yoga.
