Shifting to vegetarian and vegan diet became one of the most popular New Year resolutions for Australians and people around the world.


For some vegetarians and vegans it is the love of animals and preventing any kind of torture that can affect them.

Others feel satisfied when they boycott animal products and replace them with other products like plants, grains and nuts.

Some people find this as a challenge that could change their lives, improve their health and save the world from pollution and diseases.

Newspapers reported that the recent holiday season has a record number of Australians using vegan products in their feasts.

Now there are different substitutes to meat, milk, eggs and honey.

Chef Sarah Shawish will tell us more about this diet and some of the alternatives available to traditional products to prepare delicious meals.
