Doctors are confident that The Cervical Screening Test is more accurate at detecting infalamations that may lead to cervical cancers. The Pap test used to look for cell changes in the cervix, but the new Test looks for HPV that can lead to cell changes in the cervix in a more accurate manner. Because of this, Women are now required to take the tests every five years instead of every two years if the results did not show any abnormalities.
