What's My Health Record and what's in it?

The The Federal Government project " My Health Record" aims to give patients and doctors access to timely medical information such as test results, referral letters and organ donation information. this project has been controversial due to concerns raised in regards to privacy issues and the security of personal data which is considered to be sensitive. Greg Hunt to strengthen penalties for misusing patient data while hackers have their eye on medical records far more than credit card info.

All Australians will be made a My Health Record unless they opt out before 31st January 2019. Source: SBS
