About the role
If you’re a creative Digital Content Producer who is also proficient in Bangla, we’d love to hear from you.
As Digital Content Producer you will build our Bangla online communities and grow our audiences in the digital space. You will also be responsible for the creation and strategic placement of digital content, and the day to day moderation of relevant websites and social media platforms, such as our Facebook page. Additionally, you will work with the Online and Content teams to identify, develop and amplify SBS Radio exclusive stories.
About you
You have a sound understanding of the Bangla community in Australia, and its cultural sensitivities, and are considered a social media guru. That means you can manage and moderate multiple social media platforms and understand what content works on each. Specifically, you must be on and across all mainstream social media platforms and those specific to Bangla.
You love embracing new technology, and are an expert in SEO, with a fundamental ability to optimise content to better search engine rankings and drive traffic to websites. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to use Photoshop and audio and video editing software.
What sets you apart from the rest is your excellent editorial skills and creativity to produce content, graphics, polls, social videos and galleries based on news and features produced
