It was going great guns for Afghanistan till the half way of the first innings. England was in dire straits at 57-6 halfway but then England survived the dramatic batting collapse.
Moeen Ali (41 not out) and David Willey (20 not out) lifted them to a 142-7.
Everything changed in just one over.
In 19th over, Ali and Willey scored 25 runs in one over and the unfortunate bowler was Ameer Hamza, who’s deliveries were sent over the fence by the duo for 3 sixes, 1 four and other singles.

Hamza’s over proved costly for Afghanistan as they lost the game by 15 runs in the end.
Post match, the team captain Asghar Stanikzai bluntly singled out Hamza’s disastrous over. At the post match presentation ceremony, Stanikzai said, “"Hamza went for 25 runs in an over and that was a big reason we lost today.”
