Australia has knocked Pakistan out of the world cup by winning the T20 game on Friday night by 21 runs. Australia put up a total of 193/4 in their allotted 20 overs against Pakistan at Mohali, India with Steve Smith scoring 61 from 43 balls and Shane Watson scoring 44 from 21 balls.
Pakistan could only make 172/8 in their allotted 20 overs but this T20 game between Australia vs Pakistan will be remembered for the way Steve Smith answered Wahab Riaz’s delivery.
This particular shot has gone viral on social media. Take a look at how the right handed batsman moved away from his crease and inched away from the off stump but instead of doing the sensible thing of going after the stumps, Wahab Riaz followed him and bowled a low full toss that was dispatched for a boundary.
