Labor is set to govern Western Australia after what has been described as a landslide victory for the party in state election. It is being projected that Premier-Elect Mark McGowan will have around 40 MPs in the 59-seat parliament. A swing of around 16 per cent against the Liberals appears to have virtually halved its representation in the lower house.
