Police shooting puts Paris in alert before election

Paris police say a gunman has killed one police officer and wounded another before being killed himself in an attack on the Champs-Elysees. The self-proclaimed Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack. It comes just three days before the first round of balloting in France's tense presidential election.
