Victorian voters will head to the polls this Saturday. 

Here is what voters should know, including what the labor, Liberal-Nationals and Greens have promised.

Labor has pledged $26.7 million in funding for postnatal support services, such as maternal and childhood health nurses, The Age reported on Monday.

Premier Daniel Andrews is also offering a $7 million payroll tax exemption to employers to encourage them to allow workers to take extra parental leave.

The Liberal-Nationals are promising $700,000 to expand across Melbourne's west a group that helps disadvantaged new mums.

Opposition Leader Matthew Guy promised the cash to The Babes Project at Kilsyth on Tuesday.

"It is about support for mums at the hardest time, when they've just given birth," he told reporters.

"I want to directly invest in organisations that can help mothers and help families directly and particularly those who need it the most, when they are at a time where they are either younger or in a crisis circumstance."

Greens promised $270 million boost to mental health funding and $700 million for new tram routes over the next eight years.
