Shirley Jim had been working in Japan as a missionary for many years. When she is coming back with a newlywed Husband from the USA this year, she found that Australia government has tightened the spouse visa regulation this year and it is now far more difficult to apply for spouse visa even a US-born citizen. In this interview with Ivan Leung, Shirley is going to tell us how hard it is applying for the spouse visa. She is also going to tell us how difficult is it to enter Japan without speaking any Japanese in the first place.
