Who should be responsible for the evacuation and default of the Opal Tower?


Frustrated residents of Sydney's Opal Tower have been evacuated for the second time in four days, over concerns about the building's structural instability.

The builders, Icon, say residents must be evacuated so investigators can conduct a comprehensive investigation into a crack on the 10th floor of the building.

This resident feels they haven't been told the entire truth.

The Cantonese program has interviewed one of the residents earlier, asking him what he had encountered when he first received news that he need to evacuate from the building. We also asked our law program's guest speaker, Mr. Clifford To, to explain what rights the owners should have and who should be responsible for such a problem?
