US President Donald Trump has outlined his first budget proposals aimed at giving a big boost to military spending and imposing big cuts on foreign aid, federal government and environmental protection. The $54 billion US boost for the military is the largest since President Ronald Reagan's Pentagon buildup in the 1980s, and would financed by cuts to foreign aid and domestic agencies that had been protected by former President Barack Obama.
