It's been revealed the online census was subject to four malicious overseas attacks yesterday, the last of which prompted the Australian Bureau of Statistics to take down the website. The bureau's chief statistician David Kalisch has told the A-B-C the first three attacks caused minor disruption, but two-million forms were safely stored.
