McCain said China is a "bully"

Veteran US Senator John McCain has accused China of becoming a bully in the Asia Pacific and says he wants Australia to work with America to help modify Beijing's behaviour. In a wide-ranging speech covering issues including regional trade and security, Senator McCain cited one key area of cooperation concerned China, which he accused of acting unfairly on a number of fronts. He cited the RIMPAC naval exercises as an opportunity for Australia and the US to exercise freedom of navigation.
