News Encyclopedia: NDIS use low amongst those of a CALD background

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was a major reform to the way support is provided to people with a disability. But more than a year since it began to roll out across the country, the take up among the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Community (CALD) remains low. While best efforts are being made to provide information to such communities, there's a big concern that eligible participants are missing out.
