Police yesterday raided the offices of a Causeway Bay beauty salon which allegedly scammed seven patients - two of whom are now deceased - suffering from cancer, skin disease, and depression out of HKD5 million for "brain-activating treatments".Representatives for the Pennington Street salon apparently claimed their patients could become immune to disease if their brains were "activated" through oxygen inhalation and "infrared" treatments. In addition, patients were reportedly told that they could be healed if they carried magnets with them at all times.Siu Kam Chan has more.
