旅游网站 Traveller 报道，《悦游全球旅游》杂志（Conde Nast Traveler ）最近公布了本年度十大最受欢迎旅游城市，澳洲墨尔本及雪梨榜上有名。
《悦游全球旅游》访问了超过42.9 万名读者并发表2018 年度最受读者欢迎的旅游城市排行榜，其中日本东京及京都「包揽」了排行榜的首两名位置。
澳洲的墨尔本谨次于京都，排在排行榜的第三位，「击败」了其他国际旅游热点巴黎、维也纳及罗马等。
杂志特别提到墨尔本 Preston 和Bulleen 两个地区，将Preston 的格特鲁德当代画廊（Gertrude Contemporary Gallery）及 Bulleen 的海德现代艺术博物馆（Heide Museum of Modern Art）列为必到景点。
但杂志则「出人意表地」未有提及墨尔本电车，及游客经常前往的 Flinders Street 车站及 Yarra River。
排在第四及第五位的城市分别为奥地利维也纳及德国汉堡；而雪梨则在排行榜中排行第六。
星加坡、巴黎、巴塞罗那、温哥华紧随其后，分别排在七至十位。
