深海暂停开发,全球还有多少国家按下了‘批准键’?

Tuna Protest Staged in Nice

On World Oceans Day, Ocean Rebellion activists staged a theatrical protest outside a Monoprix supermarket in Nice, France, to spotlight concerns over industrial tuna fishing practices. The demonstration featured performers unveiling a giant can of Petit Navire tuna containing a ‘dead sailor’, accompanied by a satirical rendition of the French song ‘Il Était un Petit Navire’. The protest aimed to draw attention to alleged human rights abuses and environmental impacts associated with tuna fisheries, particularly those linked to the Marine Stewardship Council’s certification processes and the sourcing practices of global seafood companies. This action coincided with the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, urging delegates to address issues of forced labour and ecological degradation in the fishing industry.
