墨西哥 7.1 級強震重創兩城 (組圖)

墨西哥城和普埃布拉有大批建築物倒塌，上圖是墨西哥城機場。

墨西哥中部發生黎克特制 7.1 級強震，墨西哥城和中部城巿普埃布拉受重創。

消息指，墨西哥城和普埃布拉巿區多幢建築物受損和倒塌，包括學校、醫院、住宅和商業樓宇，墨西哥宣布動員全國人力物力趕赴災區。

目前地震造成最少 248 人死亡；因墨西哥城擁有最少 800 多萬人口，加上人口密集，預料死亡人數會進一步上升。

在墨西哥城，一所小學倒塌，造成至少 21 名學童及四名成人死亡。

當局出動搜救人員在瓦礫中搜索生還者。

墨西哥城市長馬塞拉（Miguel Angel Mancera）表示，當地有 44 座建築物嚴重損毀或被完全破壞。

當地亦有數宗氣體洩漏及火警發生。

地震發生在當地時間星期二下午約一時，地震震央位於「天使之城」普埃布拉西南 55 公里，震源深度 55 公里。

普埃布拉距離人口密集的墨西哥城約 130 公里。

事發當日正值 1985 年在墨西哥城發生的另一次地震；當時地震規模達到 7.8 級，8,000 幢建築物受到破壞、7,000 多人死亡、1.1 萬人受傷、約 30 萬人無家可歸。
