The lawyer for an Australian man indicted for war crimes in Croatia says his trial is scheduled to begin in September in the coastal city of Split. Dragan Vasiljkovic, also known as Daniel Snedden, is charged with multiple counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity. They relate to his involvement in the 1990s Croatian war as a paramilitary commander on the side of ethnic Serbs. Mr Vasiljkovic has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
