Government expands Seasonal Worker Program

Australian livestock and grain producers will have greater access to overseas labour under an expansion of the Seasonal Worker Program. The federal agriculture and workplace ministers announced the program, which links workers from Pacific island countries to short-staffed farmers in Australia, will now include include all agricultural producers.The changes are designed to ease labour shortages in the industry.
