Government urged to clarify tax reform plans

The federal government says it has not ruled in-or-out any changes to Australia's taxation system, including the Goods and Services Tax. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says the federal government is committed to tax reform, despite being personally unconvinced on the merits of increasing the G-S-T to 15 per cent. But those comments have attracted criticism from business groups and some state leaders.
