"There are so many Aboriginal families that have that Dutch heritage in Australia, it's a story that has been told in communities and families for generations"

Voor het eerst zal een expert op het gebied van Indigenous kunst naar Nederland afreizen om de bijna 3000 stukken tellende collectie van Australische First Nations' Art van het Wereldmuseum in Leiden te bestuderen, en om kennis en cultuur te delen. The Nguluway Dhuluyarra Fellowship is het resultaat van een samenwerking tussen de Nederlandse Ambassade in Australië, de National Gallery of Australia en het Wereldmuseum in Leiden. Tina Baum, senior conservator van First Nations-kunst bij de National Gallery, is de eerste fellow en vliegt volgende maand naar Nederland.
