Philly explains that Brown Skin is a celebration of his heritage and a show of respect for the powerful Indigenous female figures in his life.
He also adds that the single, is the first song he’s released in three years and it is part of an upcoming album. And, Brown Skin is enjoying great appreciation within the community especially among women.
