David Mullins, a graduate from Warreen Beek conservation and land management course, gained skills that allowed him to pursue a career working on Country.

In a conversation with NITV Radio, David Mullins said he was already working with Wurundjeri and was looking at the opportunity to work with Trust For Nature’s’ Naarap program when an opportunity arose to follow the Warreen Beek conservation and land management course.

David Mullins enrolled, completed the program and believes the move provided him with invaluable skills like plant identification, using specialist equipment as well as knowledge about  occupational health and safety regulations.

The skills he gained have proven invaluable allowing him to work on Country within the Naarap program.
