Niyoka and her 5 year-old son Finlo will demonstrate a fun and healthy recipe using native ingredients at the 2020 Little Foods Festival.

Niyoka Bundle of Pawa foods, explained to NITV Radio that the 2020 Little foods festival will be held exclusively online because of Covid restrictions. Everything that the public would have experienced at Federation Square, where the festival is normally held, will be delivered online on Wednesday September 30th.

At the Festival, Niyoka and her 5-year-old son Finlo have produced a video giving step by step instructions of a fun and healthy recipe using native ingredients.

The aim is to show to kids how cooking and healthy eating can be fun. For this demonstration Niyoka and Finlo chose a recipe that’s not only healthy but is also fun and easy to replicate at home.

Niyoka also explained that in their cooking they use ingredients sourced from ethical and n sustainable suppliers.

This choice aligns with the Little Foods Festival’s aim to inspire and empower Australians to make healthy choices.

It also seeks to teach kids how eating healthy can be fun and how good choices can have a positive impact on the environment.

Organisers of the Little Foods Festival say that the event will deliver a vibrant and immersive online celebration of all things food and fun, jam-packed with educations videos, DIY activities and interactive content, aimed at 5-11 year holds, that the kids will love.
