Indigenous artists have had to adapt very quickly to COVID and the changes that have come with the various restrictions we are all experiencing. How have Indigenous artists, creatives and dancers adapted quickly to the Coronavirus restrictions? And how do producers keep the creativity flowing for performers and for audiences?


The Cairns Indigenous Arts Festival was the very first Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts festival to go online and this year NAISDA the Indigenous dance college have offered online dance classes and auditions for the prospective class of 2021. And the recently held Brisbane festival was a success with Indigenous programming with COVID safe events across the city.
