In fact, since before settlement, Chinese people migrated to Australia to set up business and work in mining and they formed strong and meaningful relationships with Indigenous Australians across their nation.
Many Aboriginal people having their own Chinese heritage. And these relationships have been forgotten throughout the centuries, but that ancient connection still exists and new ones have been created.
For example, through the languages of arts and friendship. A new project aims at rediscovering the lost family and personal connection between Chinese and Australian Indigenous peoples.
