From December 1, fully vaccinated eligible visa holders will be allowed to come to Australia without having to apply for an exemption.
Eligible visa holders include skilled workers and international students, temporary working holidaymakers, as well as refugees, those on humanitarian visas and provisional visa holders. They will need to be fully vaccinated, and will need to provide proof of vaccination status and they will need to present a negative PCR test that has been taken within three days prior to their departure.
From 1 December, Australia will also welcome back fully vaccinated citizens from Japan and South Korea without the need for a travel exemption.

Victoria has recorded 1029 cases and three deaths.
NSW recorded 180 new cases and one death.
NT has recorded two locally acquired cases. Lockdown in Katherine extended to 6pm Wednesday 24 November.
