On Tuesday, Australia reported at least 25 COVID-19 deaths, including 15 in Victoria, six in Queensland and three in New South Wales (NSW). Also, Western Australia reported six historical deaths.
The number of people with COVID-19 in NSW hospitals has risen again after hitting a two-month low on 2 June. There were 1,341 people in hospitals compared to 1,066 on 2 June.
Similarly, the number of ICU admissions has also risen in the state since 2 June.
The number of hospitalisations in the Australian Capital Territory has hit the previous high of 93 on Tuesday. It's also the highest number of hospitalisations since the pandemic began.

The AFP alleged the pair from Western Sydney were part of a 'fraud syndicate' that offered their services on social media to people who wanted help in getting their payments.
Some people paid up to $1,000 and provided identity documents to the 'agents' to facilitate their claims. The AFP investigation followed reports that payments approved for some legitimate recipients were being redirected to other bank accounts without their knowledge.
South Australia is conducting a pilot program to understand whether dogs can identify COVID-19 cases by sniffing.
Men's Health Week (June 13-19) has commenced on Monday. The Victoria government said the mortality rate is much higher in men than women.
It said compared to women, men visit their doctors less frequently, have shorter visits and only attend when their illness is in its later stages.
