- From 5pm today fully vaccinated people will be allowed to travel to Queensland as long as they travel by air and have proof of a negative test within the previous 72 hours and home quarantine for 14 days. The state reached its 70 per cent double vaccination target for over 16s yesterday.
- South Australia will no longer enforce state-wide COVID-19 lockdowns from next week when it's expected to reach its 80 per cent double jab coverage target.
- The Victorian state government will distribute free rapid antigen testing kits to kindergartens and long daycare centres this week to help manage COVID-19 outbreaks in early childhood services.
