New South Wales
NSW has recorded 283 new locally acquired cases and one death. At least 64 cases were in the community while infectious.
Tamworth will enter a seven-day lockdown from 5pm as several exposure venues have been identified after a positive case from Newcastle travelled to the area.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian also calls for increased testing in the Byron Bay area, where one man tested positive to COVID-19.

Victoria has recorded 11 new locally acquired cases, all linked to the existing cluster.
Premier Daniel Andrews announces the end of lockdown for regional Victoria from 12:01am Tuesday 10 August and warns Melbourne residents not to travel within the state without a valid reason.
