- PM Scott Morrison says that 40 million vaccines doses have been administered in Australia.
- Mr Morrison says Australia has learned from the experience of the US and Canada in rolling out vaccination for children.
- Children between the ages of five and 11 will be able to get Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in Australia from next month. Approval has been sought for Moderna vaccines as well.

- NSW detects no new Omicron infections overnight, but fragments of coronavirus have been found in wastewater in regional NSW.
- The ACT says that it will not be able to book vaccination appointment for children until the supply of vaccines is confirmed by Pfizer.
COVID-19 STATS:
Victoria recorded 1,206 locally acquired cases and two deaths.
NSW recorded 516 new community cases.
The ACT recorded six cases, and Queensland four.
