First Day: Victor Valdes, "Nobody expects an Aussie Mariachi band"

The Mexican musician Victor Valdes, came to Sydney for the first time in 1992, in the first of a series of concert tours to Australia that would lead to his final establishing in the country.

The exotic idea about Australia that Victor brought in his head was confronted by a different reality that ironically, resulted more familiar than expected in some respects.

Since that moment, Victor has gone through a journey of personal growth and musical discovery that has led him to incorporate all these experiences into his latest musical creations.
