Slow recovery

The hole in the ozone layer over Australia and the Antarctic has allegedly begun to shrink, but Swiss researchers have now discovered that the climate impact of the damage is reaching far into the tropics.

They say that rainfall over French Polynesia has increased by 50 per cent and that that is being caused by the thinning of the ozone layer in the Stratosphere.
