South Korea's National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun and five lawmakers in South Korea had a meeting with Korean community in Melbourne to hear their various voices on 14 January.
Chung Sye-Kyun had an official visit to Indonesia as part of efforts to expand the parliamentary ties with Indonesia before coming to Melbourne.
Chung mentioned currently there are some uncertainty in Korean politics but it would be soon.
“We have many experiences to overcome difficult situations in our history and I am confident of overcoming again this time” Chung said.
On 15 January, Chung flied to Fiji to participate in the 25th Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF), where around 200 representatives from 19 countries will join.
