Ranked 81st in the latest 2018 AFR Rich List, they are said to be worth a whopping $876 million - a jump of 35.4% from their net worth last year of $ 647 million.
They first made headlines in 2013, both in Australia and back home in Nepal when they made it to BRW Rich 200 list.
Their combined wealth at that time was reported to be around $265 million, and they ranked 180th in the list.
The couple is known to have made most of their wealth from investing in commercial properties around Melbourne’s CBD. They also run a private education business with an affiliation to a University where Shesh is the CEO and Jamuna holds the position of executive director.
They have both been active members of the local Nepali community and are also known for their philanthropic activities.
Their involvement in fundraising for the recovery and rebuilding efforts after the Nepal earthquake in 2014 has been widely commended.
Mr Ghale was elected as the Chairman of Non-Residential Nepali Association in 2013 and held the position until 2017.
He came to Australia in 1990 as an international student while his wife Jamuna joined him later in 1991.
