2021 won't see end of COVID-19 pandemic: WHO

COVID-19 pandemic, vaccination, end pandemic, global efforts, Filipino news

The World Health Organisation has warned the COVID-19 pandemic is unlikely to end this year.

highlights
  • Vaccination efforts are so far proving to reduce hospitalisations and deaths
  • Despite the W-H-O's emphasis that countries aren't racing each other, vaccination supply isn't readily available everywhere.
  • Having vaccinated around 22 per cent of its 328 million population, experts in the United States are calling for a more unified approach in the future.
Not over, but hopefully less intense.
