If you think you can instantly spot an AI deepfake scam, you’re not alone. According to a new study by CommBank, many Australians still trust scams, allowing scammers to earn more money.

Key Points
  • With deepfakes, technology isn’t the only problem. The real goal is to gain people’s trust.

  • According to one expert, scams themselves are nothing new. What has changed is how they are presented.
