Australia’s growing healthcare demand continues to highlight the important role of Filipino nurses in addressing workforce shortages across both metropolitan and regional areas.

A 2012 study from Griffith University found a significant number of Filipino nurses entering Australia, followed by the United Kingdom.
Latest data from the Australian College of Nursing shows there are nearly 467,000 registered nurses in Australia.
Despite this, the country still faces ongoing demand for nurses across the healthcare system, particularly outside major cities.
