Glimpse into WHO's works for health

Former University of Queensland student Erlyn Macarayan was given the opportunity to get a glimpse of how the World Health Organisation (WHO) works. She was an intern for the monitoring and evaluation group of the regional office for Europe in Denmark.


Ms Macarayan spent three months in the WHO's office in Denmark as an intern and another three months internship with the WHO headquarters in Geneva.

Erlyn is passionate about public health. After finishing her Master of Public Health studies at the University of Queensland she went on to pursue her Post Doctorate degree at Yale University and eventually at the Harvard School of Public Health.

She shares her past experiences being an intern with WHO while she was still studying in Australia then.
