Filipina filmmaker Jean Claire Dy is working on a documentary focusing on the role of women in rebuilding their community after many years of armed conflict in Mindanao.

Jean Claire Dy is the Director of 'House in Pieces', a documentary about life in post-war Mindanao. It won the Golden Hercules Award at the Kasseler Dokfest (Germany) 2020 and Best Documentary, Mimesis Documentary Film Festival (USA) 2021. She is currently completing her PhD in documentary filmmaking at the Victorian College of Arts at the University of Melbourne in Australia, focusing on the role of women in rebuilding their community in post-conflict Mindanao.
