Labor's $15bn+ energy policy cops criticism, left and right

Federal Labor is promising to spend more than 15 billion dollars, if it wins power, in upgrading the national electricity grid and boosting renewable energy.


To meet its target of 50 per cent renewables by 2030, households would be given taxpayer subsidies to install batteries and solar panels.

As this report, the opposition's plan is facing criticism from both sides - from the Coalition and the Greens.
